Comments

Media

If you upload images, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from website images.

Cookies

When you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies, lasting one year for convenience. A temporary cookie on the login page checks browser cookie acceptance and is discarded on closure.

Upon login, cookies save login info and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days, screen options cookies last a year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps login persistence for two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies. Editing or publishing an article adds a cookie with the post ID, expiring after 1 day.
